We use a custom, intuitive claiming system. Simply type `/claim` in the chat to receive a Golden Shovel. Right-click one corner of the area you want to protect, then right-click the opposite diagonal corner. The size of the claim will depend on your accrued claim blocks, which you earn passively just by playing on the server.
Absolutely not. OdlySMP is strictly against Pay-to-Win mechanics. Our web store offers cosmetic items, custom chat tags, nicknames, and convenience features that do not provide an unfair PVP or economic advantage over entirely free-to-play users. Support the server because you love it, not because you have to.
The economy is entirely player-driven. You can earn money by selling farmed items in the `/ah` (Auction House), creating your own physical chest shops at your base, or completing community bounties. There is no automated Admin Shop that buys cobblestone; value is determined purely by supply and demand.
Currently, OdlySMP is optimized for Minecraft Java Edition (1.20.x). However, we are actively implementing GeyserMC to allow full cross-play for Bedrock users (Mobile, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch). Keep an eye on our Discord announcements for the official Bedrock port release.
Voting is the best way to support the server for free! By typing `/vote` in-game and clicking the links, you earn Vote Keys for every site. These keys can be redeemed at the crates in the main spawn for rare resources, cosmetic flares, and claim blocks. If the community hits the monthly vote goal, a global Vote Party drops loot for everyone online!
